Medical Assistance

The strays are born with a boon of getting up healed with some diseases. But there are some life heinous diseases which require medical attention to these strays. Team Saturn Dess Foundation heading up with a mission to rescue as much stray dogs and to provide them medical care assistance such as a pet in our home enjoys. Many times these small injuries resolve themselves but often times they require medical attention. That is where our team steps in to help – if we come across an injured animal on the streets they are picked up by our ambulance and rushed to a nearby vet. The animals then stay with our team to recover and once we believe they can fend for themselves released back to the same area.

These strays who needs to be medically assisted are spotted by our network of volunteers from entire city. These volunteers approach and share the status with us of the injured dog. The status is then shared by our empanelled vets of the city. The plan of action takes place keeping in mind the result shared by the vet. As soon the vet shares the status Saturn Dess Foundation comes into action and rescues the dog. If there is a need of giving treatment at the spot we do it on the spot itself and if there is a need to rescue the dog and take him to the vet for other diagnosis the ambulance heads towards the hospital as soon as possible. The dog is then given proper treatment till the wound gets healed up properly and then as per the advice of the vet the dog is released back by the ambulance service to the location from where he has been picked up.

Also the volunteers who spotted the dog are explained the medicinal structure to be followed post release if required.

Re-homing Program

In our cities animals born on the streets have to face many difficulties and challenges living a life alone on the streets. They have to fend for themselves, make sure they survive while tacking the urban cities. Animals on the streets often get injured hit by vehicles, harassed by humans and sometimes even end up in fights with other animals.

All animals are sterilised and vaccinated before we drop them back. Currently we have very limited space for injured animals to recovery so we are unable to help all the animals that are in need of help. But with your support hope to expand our re-homing project and help many more injured animals to recover.
